Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is October 24 - 28.  Each day students will show their support for this national campaign.  Polenta has decided to promote this event by having a Red Ribbon Spirit Week. Students are asked to come dressed a specific way to show support for the program:

Monday - "Love yourself; be Bully & Drug Free" (Wear RED day)
Tuesday - "Our future is too bright to be a bully or use drugs"   (Wear bright, neon colors and sunglasses)
Wednesday - “Together we stand up against bullying and drugs”(Students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students)
Thursday - "We think bullies and drugs are tacky" (Silly hair, mismatched clothes/socks)
Friday - "Polenta is PAWS-itively proud to be bully and drug free" (Wear purple and yellow to show your Polenta school spirit)

The Red Ribbon Campaign this year wants to remind children to "YOLO. Be Drug Free."
